John has been in the mortgage industry for over 35 years. He began as a Branch Manager for a large mortgage firm in East Greenwich RI before opening his own mortgage company in February of 1995. There he served as President of Fair Way Funding Corp, a mortgage broker licensed throughout New England, for 15 years. Fair Way employed as many as 45 full time employees, including 17 Loan Officers.

In 2004, John relocated his family to Meredith NH, where he opened another branch of the company and remained in NH until August 2014, when he relocated back to RI to be closer to immediate family members. For 5 1/2 years he served as the Residential Mortgage Lending Sales Officer for a local community bank with 11 branches located around the Lake Winnipesaukee area. He managed a staff of 10 Loan Officers and was responsible for over 160MM in annual loan volume.

John resides in Narragansett with his family. He has always been involved in coaching youth sports and volunteering his time at various events. He had the privilege of serving as President of Lakes Region Youth Hockey for 4 years, as well as being an active member of the RI Board of Realtors. During off time, he enjoys playing golf and hockey in a local men's league.
